Miranda Hardy writes literature to keep the voices in her head appeased. When she's not in her fantasy worlds, she's canoeing in alligator infested waters or rescuing homeless animals. She goes to coffee shops to do most of her writing while she drinking tea. Unable to reveal too much, she has the most boring superpower ever (hint: you have to be a close relative for it to work). She resides in South Florida with her two wonderful children, and too many animals to mention.
Ainsley Shay's passion for writing sparks from her unstoppable brain conjuring random first sentences, a single trait of a character, or a single thread of a plot. But, when her love for the fantastical world of fiction, where anything can happen takes over, it's exactly at that moment she is reminded that the possibilities are endless. And, there is where the fun begins.
She surrounds herself with positive people and strives for balance in everything (rarely finds it, but she'll never give up looking for it!). She sleeps with rocks and dreams in her pillowcase, loves audio books, has more jeans with holes than without, is fascinated with the word "hence", and has a beta fish named Zen, who excitedly meets her at his window each morning.
Ainsley resides in South Florida with her incredible husband and three amazing daughters. She loves the beach, but like most Floridians, takes that beautiful part of our state for granted. (She's working on that!)
Jay Noel was born on an uncharted island somewhere in the pacific and raised by elves and fairies.
Okay, maybe not, but Jay was always known to be the one for daydreaming.
Jay was actually born in New York, but currently lives in St. Louis with his family. He had a pretty normal childhood, except for that one incident where he gave Jeff Glass a bloody nose and lip in the second grade. But the jerk deserved it!
He also attended Southeast Missouri State University where he played NCAA Division I tennis and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Jay has a degree in English and Education.
Reading has always been an important part of Jay's life, and he grew up reading all sorts of mythology and science fiction. He particularly loves Asian, Greek, and Arthurian myths. In college, he developed a love for Shakespeare. And Young Adult Literature holds a special place in Jay's heart. His two favorite YA authors include Robert Cormier and S.E. Hinton.
Jay's favorite book of all time is To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
Valerie Puri has always had a lifelong interest in all forms of artistic expression. She has tried her hand at many things, yet she always found her way back to reading and writing. With inspiration everywhere, she finally put pen to paper (or rather, fingers to keyboard) with the intent of publishing her stories.
Writing has always come naturally to Valerie, and for a time she even worked as a technical writer. She continues to hone her skills by having at least one writing project in the works at any given time. Her true passion lies in the freedom that comes with writing the stories that pour from her imagination and real life inspiration.
Valerie believes that the experiences we have in life are just stories waiting to be written.
